The State Psychiatric Hospital for the Treatment of Drug Addictions and Alcoholism (DPBLNA) is the only specialized medical facility of its kind in Bulgaria for the provision of health care to persons with drug addiction and alcohol addiction, containing in itself the characteristics of health facilities in the Republic of Bulgaria.

The scope of activity of DPBLNA includes prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of abusive and dependent persons, persons with mental disorders caused by alcoholism and drug addictions. The patients they don't pay for their stay and the services offered, regardless of whether they are health insured or not.
